i want to know how to do a NEW pinch pleat i saw… the DID sew the vertical 4" to creat the pinch… but they did NOT use crinoline (you know the hard 4" stuff) and the pinch was at the very very TOP of the panel. ever seen this?

Hi Suzanne,

 

I replied to a different post of yours. But I'll respond to this one too.

This a french pleat. It's made the same way as a triple pinch pleat, but you pinch

and tack at the top instead. The videos on making your pleats show this

very pleat.

 

It's a shame crinoline wasn't used… because this gives your pleat a really nice

crisp shape.
