I've use interlining in valances but I'm making the fold over valance panels now.

How do I determine the yardage for the interlining?

How do I place the interlining in the panels? Do I have a hem for fabric, lining and interlining?

I want to do panels for a sliding door and there will at least 3 panels that will all be drawn to one side when open. Will the interlining add too much weight?
