i can do that. let's say you want your curtain to be 55" finished length. first,

mark a line across your sewing board at 55". then, wrong side up, pin the

bottom of your curtain at this line. then, all your extra fabric is hanging off the

top of your sewing board. Then, fold it all over, wrong sides together. then,

measure and mark 6" down from the top of your board. make this mark with

a pencil on the fabric. cut here. fold 3" up under, and you now have a 3" double

hem at the top. stitch across at the 3" line; or about 2 7/8". hang with clips, or

sheer on a rod. good luck!
